Traci Goudy is a dedicated RN, who is the owner of Homecare By Design. As a member of the team, she contributes her knowledge and passion, as well as over 20 years of success and experience in senior services. Traci works hand-in-hand with each of her management leadership team and in-home care staff, as well as clients, their families and businesses in the surrounding areas. After the successful opening of several local senior living communities for companies such as Rosewalk Commons, Green Tree Assisted Living and University Place, Traci found the next natural step was to open her own business. After starting up a local home health company with a business partner, she founded her own private duty home care agency, Homecare By Design. Traci delights in finding new and innovative solutions to help families of all ages solve day-to-day problems, offering a variety of services and personalized options to help strengthen families and give them the quality at-home care that they deserve.

As a lifelong passion, Lee advocates for area families and businesses to gain and maintain financial resources. The resources include education and tools that prevent burdensome debt, debt that causes instability and jeopardizes both families and business health. Many years ago, Lee and Traci took Financial Peace University, a 13-week course offered locally at an area church. Lee grew passionate about the importance of becoming excellent managers of available resources. He worked with Traci to reduce both personal and business debt. In addition to their work through Homecare By Design, Lee and Traci personally coordinated and facilitated well over 200 Tippecanoe families, youth and Homecare By Design employees to live by the principles taught by Dave Ramsey. Both believe that finances touch every area of life:

With an intense level of energy, Lana brings over 20 years of managerial leadership experience to Homecare By Design. She is excited to be part of Homecare By Design, their team of beautiful and loving caregivers and experienced, talented agency leadership. Lana is ready to serve the needs of our community on multiple levels and through various organizations as part of the agency's outstanding customer service and community engagement. She is a graduate of Purdue University; and lives in West Lafayette with her “awesome” and very sweet daughter Hannah, and their sensitive and very curious cat Apollo Ohno.

Cindy has a broad knowledge and practical experience in Senior Care. With over 20 years of experience in roles such as being a Certified Nursing Assistant to Director of Social Service she has dedicated her life to ensure that the needs of seniors are being met while helping them to maintain their dignity and quality of life. Her goal when coming to work at Homecare By Design is to enable the senior to be able to “age in place” in their home. She will work with our families, clients and direct care staff to provide consistent, quality care. Cindy brings with her a wide knowledge of community resources. Cindy is currently engaged and is the mother of one teenager, Trevor, and two adult children, Bryan and Caitlin.

Recently moved back to her hometown of Lafayette from Tennessee, Kathy brings to Homecare By Design over 12 years of experience in the caregiver field. She started young as a child caring for her family members. Her experience continued through a local Alzheimer’s daycare for 5 years. Following school, Kathy was employed at an independent, assisted & 24 hour secured dementia facility. She absolutely loves caring for others and understands the rewards, challenges, responsibilities and dedication that caregivers experience. Her goal at Homecare by Design is to assist the agency, serving as a “Beacon” to those in need of our unique homecare solutions. She brings many great ideas to add and implement in the near future.

With a broad smile and robust laugh, Stephen is a wonderful asset to Homecare By Design. Stephen is full of wonderful insights and fun ideas that help us in every area of our business. The hardest thing for Stephen to do is tell someone, “No.” That is because he, besides being a technical whiz kid, also has a huge heart and just loves to help others. Stephen is like a brother to anyone who meets him. We have taken this wonderful Purdue graduate under our wing to teach him about business in the real world, while he teaches us about business in the hi-tech world of computers.

Though Hope is barely into her twenties, she comes to Homecare By Design with skill and knowledge that surprises many. If you visit our office, you will be greeted by Hope’s bright smile and sunny disposition. She loves to serve others, whether it’s in her church as a worship leader, across the world in the mission field or right here in the office. Hope lives in Lafayette with her parents, Traci and Lee. She hopes to learn as much as she can about Homecare By Design and touch as many lives as possible in her next year here.
