After the heavy snow last week, Maria came for her regular Friday session with my mother, Hilde Evans. Much to everyone's surprise Maria shoveled the entire large driveway and walkway, truly going above an beyond! Her cheerful caring attitude and hard work is much appreciated.

Abby's Background

Professional Background
Fresh out of Purdue University Abby worked for Starbucks Coffee Company for 6 years where she served as a Barista, Manager and then District Manager. She had the opportunity to open two new Starbucks locations in West Lafayette and Lafayette. Abby is passionate about serving others; providing excellent customer service and building outstanding teams. She passionately shares the vision and mission of Homecare By Design with agency staff as well as Greater Lafayette and surrounding communities. Abby is in charge of staff development for the agency and acts as a Care Designer to match clients and caregivers with tailor-made services for agency clients from infants to elders. Abby serves as the agency's Executive Director.

It is Abby's experience, knowledge, leadership abilities and outstanding customer service that make her such an important and crucial part of the Homecare By Design team.
