If we are to have happy clients, we must have a happy staff. After our staff have undergone extensive screening, our proprietary integrity exam, and have met with multiple managers for quality assurance, they undergo agency training that focuses on customer service, care services and on-going programming to develop additional skills in their work and in their personal lives.
Homecare By Design is continually growing and we do so by taking excellent care of our staff as well as our clients. We treat our associates with the same TLC we do our clients and their family. Our staff is the backbone of our agency and we know it!

Traci Goudy, RN and owner/operator of Homecare By Design, has 20-years of direct day-to-day experience in senior care and senior services. This is extremely important in the care of your loved one. Having someone with a rich history in caring specifically for seniors, in many ways, becomes crucial in the home care setting. The Homecare By Design management team, who personally meets and makes recommendations for each of our seniors care, based on the senior’s need and preferences, is made up of nurses and those with social work backgrounds.
This becomes evident in the delivery of our expert care. Staffing well trained and supervised caregivers with the right clients requires experience in working with the elderly and/or disabled, for the best care. This affordable, yet expert delivery of services enhances the overall in home care experience for the senior, their family and other providers who may be working with the senior. It is a team effort!
You simply cannot replace practical experience in working with seniors. They have unique needs, communication styles, are facing potential difficulties as they age, have lost friends and loved ones to death; that can lead to depression and other problems and they grew up in a completely different generation! An experienced, loving agency that is passionate about their clients and have the expertise to back it up provides you and your loved one with the needed peace of mind and hope for the future you deserve. |

Affordable
Affordable for most budgets by self/private pay, long term care insurance or veteran’s benefits, as applicable. We bill bi-weekly, so other than the initial deposit that is returned for unused services, you pay only after you have received the services. We also have a convenient bank pay system for extra ease, if preferred. All associates are paid through the agency so you never have to worry about tracking their time. Our "telephony" system allows us to track each visit to the home with the use of the telephone, so we can see exactly when our caregiver arrived and when they left. We also take care of all insurances, so should an accident happen with one of our staff, they are covered. In addition, we take care of all taxes, social security payments and Medicare payments for our staff. It's easy, safe, and hassle-free for our clients! |
