Did you know that Cardiovascular Disease is the #1 killer of women in the United States? Heart disease kills about 60 women each hour in the United States, with 64 percent of women having no previous symptoms. Cardiovascular disease contributes to about one third of deaths in women.

With these alarming statistics, it is extremely important for women to be aware of the risks and take steps towards protection. Have blood pressure taken regularly and visit a primary care physician for annual physicals. Please take good care of your hearts this month and every month.
