In addition, based upon consultaion, our Senior Advisor Program, which is a part of our Homecare Concierge services may include various options individually or seperately such as:

  • recommendations for follow up treatment with your health care provider to assit in health managment   
  • referrals to local resources 
  • research to provide suggested housing alternatives;  many people prefer to stay at home, which is a great option in today's world. But, for some, they prefer to move to an assisted living, retirement campus, nursing home or apartment living. With 13 years experience, Homecare By Design knows the different types, models, payment options and plans, and can meet the expectations of our clients wants and needs by doing the "footwork" for them. Then they, and their family can choose, based on the various options presented, the program that is right for them. 
  • funeral planning; no one like to think of it but the reality is that it is better to plan ahead and have peace of mind your choices and preferrences will be honored. We help and hand hold the entire way making this a smooth and loving gift to give to your family so they won't have to worry about it later. 
  • legal service coordination; getting tax information together can be overwhelming, as well as staying up with legal paperwork, banking, etc. We work with your existing attorney, trust officer, banker, CPA, etc to help make this less time consuming and stressful.  And, if needed, we provide referrals for these services to those who are the right fit for you and your needs!
  • bill paying; a simple but often stressful task. It's important to stay on top of getting bills paid timely and as we grow older this can become more and more challenging. With the help of our senior coordiantor we will help track your spending and budgeting (with approval of what is being paid to at all times and all checks reviewed and signed by client). This also helps seniors from being taken advatage of by assuring inappropriate bills or scams are not accidently being paid. This services is very transparent to all relevant parties for full honesty, dependabilty and safety.
  • care service management; to stay on top of care provided by various providers such as assisted living, nursing homes and other health care providers. We are there when family memember can't be. Especially nice for those seniors whose children live out of town or work but still want to be sure mom or dad is getting the excellent care they deserve.
  • home downsizing; this will help you get free of the things that are taking over your life and leave you with the things you enjoy and treasure the most! It's so much better to be surrounded with the things you love and enjoy than just "stuff"!
  • home organization; after 50 years in a home it can be quite cluttered! We've all experienced the overwhelming feeling when we know it is time to de-clutter! Our Senior Advisor can help! Why go it alone when someone is able and willing to help lessen your load? It's faster, safer, and a better use of your time than trying to go it alone.
  • moving coordination; moving can be a daunting process, but with the help of our Senior Advisor it becomes much easier!
